On Thursday, a breaking news situation took place in McDowell County, West Virginia. As reported by WVVA News, the authorities were called out to Anawalt to investigate a report of animal cruelty.
Responding deputies identified Crystal Copley as the suspect in the report – an investigation revealed that Copley had thrown live puppies into a creek. According to the news agency, this incident remains under investigation. There is no information about the fate of the puppies who were thrown into the water.
Copley was arrested and taken to the McDowell County Holding unit on a $10,000 bond; she is facing a charge of felony animal cruelty.
