In Jeannette, Pennsylvania a woman is alleged to have stolen a puppy from a Harrison Avenue apartment and then threw the defenseless pup out of her moving vehicle.

According to CbsPittsburg, the Jeannette Police accused Courtney Marie Petrillo kicked in the door and ransacked  the apartment; overturning the big screen televisions as well as furniture. She then grabbed the seven-month-old puppy and fled.

A witness saw Petrillo’s red vehicle move past his apartment and spotted the brown and white puppy falling out. The witness tended to the dog until police arrived; the lucky puppy was not injured.

No motive has been released at this time.

Petrillo faces burglary, aggravated animal cruelty and trespassing charges.
