An Alabama woman is accused of killing a dog who wouldn’t allow her to pick him up while she was stealing him. The dog, a pit bull named Rollie, was taken from Aaron Jordan’s yard a week ago, allegedly by 21-year-old Ayshia Reese, who has been arrested and is facing animal cruelty charges.
As reported by the Montgomery Advertiser, Reese shot and killed Rollie because he refused to let her pick him up. Jordan was at work when the cruel situation happened – it was a neighbor who saw Reese putting Rollie’s body into a box, which was then loaded into her car. Another neighbor heard the gunshot that took the dog’s life.
Jordan said:
“I can’t believe she did this to my dog.”
Rollie was only 18 months old. His killer has been booked into the Montgomery County Detention Center.
