A woman in Rochester, New York, is accused of fatally beating a Yorkshire terrier with a metal cane. As reported by 13 WHAM News, the woman identified in the cruelty case is 33-year-old Blythe Caldicott.
The Irondequoit Police allege that Caldicott beat a 12-year-old Yorkshire terrier so severely with the cane that the dog had to be euthanized because of head trauma.
Caldicott is facing a charge of aggravated cruelty to animals and she is due in court in August.
