Why doesn’t anyone want to adopt Harley?

At the Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control, three-year-old Harley is not able to figure out why he is at a shelter. The noises, the strangers and the scary environment – all enough to make any little dog afraid.

The miniature poodle and Maltese mix is available for adoption. He has been at the shelter since April 28, and no one has chosen him to be their new best friend.

Follow Harley’s plight here. When he first arrived at the shelter, he shook with fear. He seems to be making the adjustment, but needs all animal advocates to share his story with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.

Maybe this is what Harley needs to find a loving human – his story and his photos out on social media. We have done it before – we can do it again.
