White shepherd ‘Quincy’ seems to be giving up at California shelter

Meet Quincy – a white shepherd who spends his time just lying in his shelter cage at the Riverside Animal Shelter as if he has completely given up. The six-year-old is extremely underweight and his coat is thinning around his extremities and face. He also has a small epidermal mass on the left gluteal region.

This heartbroken pup has been at the shelter for ten days, and no one has shown any interest in him. Sadly, that puts him at risk of being humanely euthanized.

I am hoping someone local will open their heart and home for this precious treasure. He deserves a loving furever family……. it’s absolutely heartbreaking to think of him dying alone, afraid and unloved in the shelter…… I am in WA, so I can’t visit him and reassure him that he will be ok (even if it wasn’t Covid time)…….
