Police are searching for a Pueblo, Colorado, man who is wanted for fatally beating his roommate’s dogs and dismembering one of them. According to a press release from the Teller County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Matthew Stephen Dieringer allegedly beat a seven-year-old Australian cattle dog named “Suka” and a black dog named “Hayoka.”
According to the release, Hayoka was also dismembered. A necropsy on Suka’s body confirmed that she died from blunt force trauma.
Dieringer is wanted on two felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.
