Two people wanted after shooting dog on Lakewood, Colorado, street

Two people are wanted by the police after witnesses reported seeing them shoot and kill a dog on a Lakewood, Colorado, street on Saturday  morning. The Lakewood Police Tweeted:

On 8/1 at 7 am, LPD responded to calls of a dog who had died of apparent gunshot wounds at 12th and Teller. The male and female suspects in the video drive a silver Chrysler 300.

As reported by KDVR News, witnesses stated that a man and woman appeared to be arguing before the man held the dog down and the woman shot her. The dog, a female pit bull, did not have identification tags or a microchip. The pair drove away, leaving the dog on the street, after the fatal shooting.

KDVR provides a description of the duo:

the female is described as white or Hispanic with blonde hair. She was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt and bluejeans. The man is described as white or Hispanic with dark hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt, bluejeans and white shoes.
