In Lunas, New Mexico, time runs out quickly for scared dogs. Abandoned by her owner, Luna is terrified of the noises, the busy environment and the strangers who walk by her kennel. Tragically, the Valencia County Animal Shelter is overcrowded – what are the chances Luna will receive the individual attention she needs and deserves?

Shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday
9 AM to 5 PM.

 

Adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $92 and includes all the required vet care. If the animal is already fixed, the adoption fee would be $10. Must be paid with a check or money order.

Not all dogs and puppies at the shelter are listed here at the Volunteers of the Valencia County Animal Shelter.
