Who could even imagine anyone being so cruel and heartless as to abandon a four-week-old puppy and leave her in a box. Fortunately, Dallas Dog – Rescue.Rehab.Reform has been able to come to her aid on Thursday when she was found.
“She is in critical condition her gums are white and she needs a miracle! We seriously can not do this without donations! We named her Thumbelina she is barely 2 pounds she is just about 4 weeks old.
This is what the doctor reported “ she has severe hookworm anemia. PCV is 6!!! Getting transfusion now,” the rescue organization posted on their social media page alongside of the heartbreaking photos of an innocent puppy left to die in the Dallas area of Texas.
Thumbelina’s state of neglect has been shown to be extremely critical. Her treating veterinarian stated he had never seen a “fecal sample with so many hookworms.”
Friday morning’s update brought some tentatively good news. Thumbelina made it through the night.
“She has made it through the night and seems to be resting to get her strength back! Her PCV is now at @35% that is a huge improvement.”

This is sad and disgusting beyond words can express….. The POSs who neglected this precious little treasure and abandoned her are pure evil!!!!!!!! Lock these POSs up and lose the keys!!!!! Should only leave prison in a pine box (& that is way too good for them)……. They will burn in the hottest part of Hell forever for their cruelty……. They can’t get to Hell fast enough………
I hope this precious little treasure recovers ASAP and is rehomed into a loving furever family where she will be treated as a beloved family member……
