All their lives Feisty and Lady felt loved and secure. Sadly, life sometimes hands us lemons, and when their owner became ill and too weak to care for the bonded pair, their lives took a sad turn. The dogs were surrendered to the Fort Worth Animal Care and Control.

Both dogs had been in the medical section of the shelter and were treated for upper respiratory infections. On Friday they were returned to the adoption area – they need help. And now – nearly three weeks later, Feisty and Lady have not been adopted.

Feisty (15628518) is 12-years-old, weighs 47 pounds, is spayed and heartworm negative (black and tan dog). Lady (30851201) is 10-years-old, weighs 59 pounds and is also spayed. Both dogs are available for rescue or adoption.

Rescue tags must be sent via EMAIL: [email protected]v

Both dogs are located at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control/Chuck Silcox Adoption Center, 4900 Martin Street, Fort Worth 76119 at Fort Worth Animal Care & Control.

The dogs’ plight is being shared on the Facebook page – Bonded Pairs in Need. Sharing saves lives.
