A ten-year-old boy risked his own life to save a puppy that had fallen into an oil well. A video of the rescue posted on YouTube Saturday showing the young hero rescue the defenseless puppy quickly went viral.
According to the MaritimeHerald, the video quickly circulated online through Mexico, Canada and the United States. In the video, the child is seen hanging upside down as adults hold his feet. The boy stretched to grab the terrified puppy in the sticky oil, and it took several attempts to finally make the rescue after reaching down and grabbing the puppy by his neck.
The adults pull the child and the puppy to safety. Immediately the boy, named Taylan bathed the dog in the river to remove the surface oil. Afterward, he took the puppy home and gave it some milk.
Taylan’s bravery and heart has not gone unnoticed. Internet users from all over have continued to praise the young hero – and so do we.
