Tears for the voiceless: Noodle left on a sheet in a shelter parking lot

Rescuers so often shed tears for the voiceless; the innocent victims of neglect and animal cruelty. And so it began again on Friday morning near Houston, Texas when a two-year-old dog was left on a sheet in an animal shelter parking lot.

Jamie’s Animal Rescue tells the heartbreaking story of Noodle.

“…My blood, sweat and tears  go into all of them because they need somebody to step up for them. Noodle was left abandoned on a sheet in a shelter parking lot. She can barely walk or stand. She is 3-4 years old and has been living a horrible life full of pain.

She has open sores covering her body. She is ravaged with skin infection and mange. Her hind legs are so raw she can’t even straighten them. Her front legs are so bowed out. She has ulcers in her mouth and on the bottom of her paw pads…”

Fortunately, Noodle will be one of the terribly neglected that will be saved. Finding her is the best thing that ever happened to Noodle. Her photos tell her heartbreaking story.

Updates to follow. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is already sleeping soundly. Let the healing begin.

Rest easy now baby, the best is yet to come. It was fate that we crossed paths. In a matter of months , nobody will even recognize you!
