Sweet Great Dane found as a stray waiting at shelter for rescue

At the Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas, a very sweet Great Dane is waiting at the shelter for a new home. For three days, this beautiful dog wandered around a business area and no one helped. On Friday, animal control officers were called and picked her up; she is now waiting for help.

A volunteer tells her story:

“She is very laid back. seems she has had gads of litters before and dog friendly…”

I am female. I look like a fawn Great Dane. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. I weigh 126.00 pounds.”

This girl tested positive for heart worms and will need treatment.
