Sweet boy at risk of being put down

‘Sweet boy’ at high risk of being put down at busy Texas animal control facility

Update: SAPA has stated that Bernie is now safe!

A “sweet boy” is at risk of being euthanized at a busy Texas animal control facility. The seven-year-old dog, named Bernie, will be among the first dogs to be put down when space becomes an issue at the San Antonio city shelter.

On Monday, the SAPA Urgents & Adoptables Facebook page wrote:

Bernie is a sweet boy who is in need of a forever home. His kennel mate was adopted and is safe. He enjoys getting attention from people and spending time with you once he opens up! Will you give this cutie a second chance? Bernie is around 7 years old and weighs 61 lbs.
