At the Greene County Animal Shelter of Virginia, the saddest photo of the day captured a truly sad and very lonely dog sitting quietly in her shelter cage. Three-year-old Alora had been surrendered to the shelter because of family health issues.
According to the shelter, Alora had been adopted a year ago and is very special and needs a family where she is the only dog in the home. She is described as a sweetheart around people and loves attention. She is house trained and good with children according to her previous family.
Alora loves to go for walks and is leash trained. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations.
“Alorai is hoping someone will give her a chance and love her forever,” the shelter posted on their social media page. “We are asking each of you please to help our girl Alora find happiness.”
