A senior German shepherd, surrendered this month by his owner, desperately wants out of the busy animal shelter where he has been held since January 11. The nine-year-old dog, named Milo, could use some assistance to leave East Valley Shelter in Van Nuys, California.

On Monday, Milo’s advocate writes:

Sweet giant and quiet and just wants out. Owner surrendered, swipe to see owner notes. He’s back in medical receiving extra care for pressure sore on his hip and an ear infection. He could really use help being seen.

The information provided by Milo’s former owner indicates that he lived most of his life outdoors, and slept at night in a garage. It is time for this deserving senior dog to enjoy life as a beloved companion. Please network his adoption information to help him find a loving home.
