In the town of Jinjang, located in Malaysia, authorities are investigating a disturbing act of animal cruelty. The Malaysia Animal Association reported a stray mother dog nursing her newborn puppies had been stabbed to death in what may have been a random act of animal cruelty.
According to the Malaysia Animal Association Facebook page, authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying the culprit(s).
“Another case of death by stabbing, as a mother dog to five puppies was killed while it was nursing her young – reportedly in Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia Animal Association is calling for any witnesses who knows the identity of the perpetrator to bravely come forward to make a report to the authorities. Cases involving animal cruelty should not be kept quiet and need to be brought to justice,” the organization posted.
The Malaysia Animal Act protects animals from cruelty and abuse. Anyone with information about this terrible act should contact the Malaysia Animal Association at +6011-20901097.
The puppies are in the care of a rescue organization.
