In San Antonio, Texas, a four-year-old Siberian husky was found as a stray with a massive growth on her head and face. Her prognosis is unknown, and at this time she is being treated with pain medication by the shelter. It is imperative she is rescued – whether she has a fatal disease or can be treated by a licensed veterinarian and enjoy the rest of her life.
“It’s a mass that is covering both eyes and has grown into her mouth. They have her on pain meds and IV fluids. They also fixed her name, so now she is named ‘Wendy’, a shelter volunteer posted on social media Saturday afternoon.
“It’s entirely possible she will need to be humanely euthanized but, maybe a foster hospice could at least take her for a little and show her some love and spoil her so she doesn’t have to die confused and scared in a shelter…”

Supposedly found as a stray, and THIS IS HER ONLY HOPE!! My Scout had nasal cancer, regardless of medical care/cost, love caring his life was cut short. I’m not a vet and am not saying she has nasal cancer but I do know that WENDY NEEDS MEDICAL HELP NOW!
Please share Wendy’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Pledges to help with her medical expenses are being accepted – all funds will be released to the organization once the dog is safely out of the shelter.
