Someone strapped a lit firecracker to a goose in Baldwin, New York. The disturbing incident was shared on social media on Friday afternoon. Facebook user John Debacker writes:
Which piece of shit tied a fire cracker to this goose? It was lit but thankfully didn’t explode the poor bird.
A reward fund is being put together by Long Island Orchestrating for Nature.
According to the man who posted the images, the authorities are involved and are investigating the situation.

Kudos to PETA and LION for rescuing this goose. Whoever did this needs to be caught. Bullies and cowards who abuse animals often cross species lines. It’s a red flag. Stopping animal abusers makes the entire community safer.
