Someone abandoned puppies in water-filled tote left on boat ramp

One week ago, someone cruelly abandoned nearly a dozen neglected puppies in a water-filled tote which was dropped at a boat ramp in Blount County, Tennessee. Fortunately, a good Samaritan heard their cries and went to investigate. This week, the Friends of the Blount County Animal Center described what the person found when they peeked inside:

Inside this tote were 11 puppies covered in fleas and ticks, and in about four inches of water. Had they not been vigilant…we don’t want to think of what the outcome might have been.🐶🐶

Though the puppies were abandoned in a cruel manner, their story continues on a decidedly positive note. The shelter support page wrote:

These pups were abandoned as if their lives didn’t matter, but to us they matter very much! We wanted to show them how special they are, so today they had their very own photo shoot with our local heroes.

We would like to introduce you to our Superhero crew that went FROM ZERO TO HERO! Each one has their own super power (obviously 🤷🏼‍♀️), but their most deadly weapon is their ability to make the strongest men weak in the knees with their puppy breath and kisses!

And thanks to the heroes in blue that made the pups’ adorable photo shoot possible.
