In El Paso, a man was arrested on Wednesday after a video posted to social media showed the 20-year-old abusing his small Shih Tzu.
According to KtsmNews, the video shows Caleb Hicks kicking his three-year-old male Shih Tzu, Teddy, in a parking lot located off Zaragoza Road. Hicks kicked Teddy multiple times, hurling the tiny dog into the air and landing against the tire of a nearby parked car.
An investigation had been initiated by police after the video was reported to them by El Paso Animal Services. Hicks was booked into jail and later posted bail set at $5,000.
No information about Teddy’s injuries has been made available.
