In Dallas, Texas, the four-year-old Siberian husky found as a stray with a massive growth on her head and face, has captured the hearts of thousands becoming an internet star. Although the invasive tumor which covers her face, eyes and has invaded her mouth is terminal, nothing has yet dampened her spirits nor her capacity to love her rescuers and enjoy everyday of her life.
On Saturday, Serenity had a birthday party. What could be more fun? Oh what a night!

Dallas Dog-Rescue.Rehab.Reform has a bucket list for Serenity; so many things to do and every adventure designed to celebrate her life. For instance, on Friday morning after eating a hearty breakfast, Serenity was off for a car ride, her followup visit to the vet for more blood work testing and then another breakfast – this time pancakes.
“Serenity loves car rides and trying to get as close to the window as possible,” the rescue organization posted on their social media pages. “We are doing a few more consultations, so keep following for updates as we get them.
Her spirit is great. She is happy, tail-wagging and wanting to play with the other dogs at home. The doctors said her quality of life is good currently…”
For now, Serenity is enjoying every moment of her life – just as it should be.
“If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person!
… Her softness, her love, the gentle touch for attention. She is beyond perfect, she is forgiving my heart breaks we did not save her sooner!,” the rescue posted on their Facebook page.
