An animal shelter in New York is searching for a special home for a senior dog who is blind and deaf. The Niagara County SPCA has been utilizing social media to help find a loving home for Shelby, a nine-year-old English bulldog.
On Facebook, the animal welfare agency writes:
Meet Shelby! She’s a 9-year-old English bulldog mix who is deaf and blind. She needs a quiet home with no small kids. She can follow the sound of your footsteps. Thank you to our friends at Tuscarora Roofing & Siding for sponsoring her cage! ❤️ If anyone would like to donate a special feeding dish for her, she needs a brachycephalic feeding dish or a Tilt-A-Bowl stainless steel dish.
