A senior Labrador retriever finds himself homeless at 12 years of age because his family surrendered him to a Texas animal control agency. The elderly boy, named Rex, was surrendered because his family said that he is aggressive.
Despite the damning claim by Rex’s former family, the shelter staff has not observed any aggression from Rex…simply confusion and despair over the loss of his home.
Saving Rex
Rex faces an uncertain future because of his age, and the negative information provided by his former owner. But he stands a chance of rescue if people share his information. Rex is located in Rockwall, Texas.
