Scared dog past due to leave shelter and currently at risk

A scared dog, three years of age, is past the safe period of “stray hold” and he is currently at risk of losing his life because nobody came to get him. The shepherd mix, known only by his ID# A1579299, was taken in at the Riverside County Animal Control – Coachella Shelter on March 23 and his stray holding period ended on March 27.

This frightened pooch is not doing well at the animal control agency and he has been deemed “rescue only” because of his reaction to other dogs. His advocate writes:
