A reward is being offered for a case of suspected animal cruelty involving the death of 19 hunting dogs in North Carolina. This week, the Albemarle Houndsmen Association stated:
REWARD $ 10,000.00 REWARD 07-11-2020.
For any information in the arrest and conviction for the poisoning of 19 hunting dogs located in Camden County, Elizabeth City, N.C.
The dogs, described as running walker hounds, are highly valued at $1,500 to $2,000 each, reports ABC News 12.
According to the Houndsmen Association, the dogs belonged to Jamie Sanders. The agency stated that he found the 19 dogs dead of suspected poisoning – blood samples have been taken to determine exactly what happened. The case is being treated as “suspicious” and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
The Houndsmen Association stated:
Please keep Jamie in your prayers and we all know what our hounds mean to us. Please feel free to call me. Mike White 252-985-8331.
