Just a few miles from Boston, at the Revere Beach, a woman is alleged to have kicked her dog and tossed the small gray dog into the water leaving it to drown on Sunday. The woman has been cited with animal cruelty charges.
According to CbsBoston, the disturbing incident occurred in the middle of the day with children watching. Revere City Councilor George Rotondo Jr. had been at the beach and ran over to the dog to help the lifeguards administer CPR to the dog, but it was too late.
Shocked witnesses stated the woman had been kicking the dog and then she just tossed the dog into the water.
An investigation is ongoing.
