Puppy thrown from bridge

A puppy in Nassau County, Florida, is lucky to be alive after someone threw her from a bridge. The 10-week-old terrier mix pup, dubbed Queso, survived with the help of a good Samaritan who pulled her from the swift water beneath the bridge along the Florida/Georgia line.

The Nassau County Animal Services facility wants to find the person who saved little Queso. On Thursday, the shelter wrote:

Help us find the good Samaritan who jumped into the river and rescued this puppy (Queso) after it was thrown from a bridge at the FL/GA line.

The shelter staff wants to thank the man for his good deed, but understands if he wants to remain anonymous.

Queso needs a home

The shelter has stated that only a few applications have been received for little Queso. If you are interested, please complete an application at this link.
