In Coachella, California, Riverside County Animal Services Officer Jose Cisneros responded to a rather unusual call on Friday about a trapped three-month-old puppy trapped in a spare tire.

The officer tried to use oil to lubricate her head and then be able to pull her to safety, but unfortunately her neck appeared to swell. So off the officer and the adorable Australian cattle dog pup went to the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms, where veterinarians sedated the puppy to calm her.

The Riverside County Fire Station responded to the call and used a Sawall to cut a piece from the wheel enabling the puppy to squeeze out. The puppy was kept overnight at the veterinarian hospital to make sure she was not injured. She will be returned to her family.
