A pregnant dog managed to survive being repeatedly stabbed and she recently delivered her puppies. On January 7, the Big Dog Ranch Rescue organization introduced Facebook followers to the bull dog, named Beauty:
We rescued this poor, sweet mama, Beauty, today from Miami Dade Animal Services. She has just about given up. She is barely eating, she is emotionally drained, and has a belly full of puppies. Her cuts were done deliberately with what looks like blades or knives. How anyone could do that, we have NO idea. Please keep her in your prayers.
Whoever stabbed Beauty left her on the side of the road – she suffered wounds to her neck, face, leg and stomach. But she is recovering, and on January 10, the rescue group announced the birth of her puppies:
Remember Beauty from the other day?! Well, she had her sweet lil’ pups! We thought it would be a couple weeks before she had them, but they are resting in comfort – surrounded by much love. Beauty’s puppies will be ready for adoption in 8 weeks, and Beauty herself will be ready for a loving home in about 12 weeks.
