Police search for person who shot dog

Police in Dallas, Texas, are searching for whoever shot a dog, who was badly injured on a hind leg. According to a news release by the Dallas Police Department, the injured dog was found on the afternoon of August 2 in the 5200 block of Rocky Ridge Road.

The brown and white “pit bull type” female dog has a “severe” injury on her rear leg.

Information needed

The police have reached out to the public for tips and information.
