Police investigate animal cruelty case where dead dog found tied to rock in lake

In Huntington County, Pennsylvania, the Huntington State Police are investigating an animal cruelty case where a dead dog was found near a boat launch at Raystown Lake. Last Sunday, a grizzly discovery of a dog “floating near the shore” was made in the area of Coffee Run Bridge on Old Plank Road.

According to AbcNews, the large white dog, a pit bull breed, had a rope tied around his neck and was secured to a large rock. The dog had no collar or identification.

Anyone with information is asked to call the state police at 814.627.3161 and refer to incident PA20-1459929.
