A four-year-old dog has been let down by the person who adopted her as a puppy. The dog, named Dandy, is heartbroken and confused after being surrendered to the animal shelter in Weatherford, Texas.
On Tuesday, Dandy’s advocate explained what happened:
Dandy was adopted from the shelter as a puppy 4 years ago. This precious girl was surrendered today. Owner is moving cross country and tried to work it out to take her but couldn’t.
Adding:
Please ask about Dandy. She’s scared and nervous. The owner said she warms up to people once she’s given a chance to check you out. She’s good with other dogs and cats.
Dandy has every reason to be scared and confused – her life has literally been turned upside down and she is utterly alone. If you are interested in learning more, please call 817-598-4111.

I am not sure why she couldn’t take her furbaby with her. My husband and I have moved several times and our furbabies have moved with us. Granted, it does take extra effort to find a “pet friendly” landlord, but it’s doable…… We have anyways driven with our furbabies but one can have their furbaby fly with them as well. US military will transport family pets all over the world
I hope this furbaby can be rehomed ASAP!!!
