Six years ago, someone abandoned their dog with a note pinned to her collar asking for someone to give her a “good home.” Today, the now eight-year-old dog named Missy continues to wait for someone to find her worthy enough to call her their own.
The Orland Town & Country Humane Society writes:
MISSY has spent more than 6 years at our shelter. She’s about 8 years old. THAT’S 75% OF HER ENTIRE LIFE!!
She was brought to us after someone seen her running after the car she was dumped from. When she was unable to keep up with them, the person called her over and found a note pinned to her collar that read, “My name is Missy, please find me a good home.”
The shelter’s Facebook post was created in August…today, Missy continues her wait. According to the shelter, Missy has a lot of energy and is not good with cats. The animal welfare agency hopes to find her a home where she can be queen of the castle and enjoy rides in the car, and walks.
