Duke is a sweet boy, but no one has offered to give him a home. At the thought of someone walking by his shelter cage, Duke grabs his stuffy and runs to the front – hoping someone will open the door and let him out to play at the Cape May County Animal Welfare Society.
“Duke asked, ‘Before you close us in for the night, did anyone ask about me today?”
Not today Duke but tomorrow is another day.

Sweet dreams Duke. We love you,'” the shelter posted on Facebook hoping to help Duke find his forever home.
This friendly guy is a six to eight year old Boxer who had been surrendered. Supposedly Duke did live with a cat and did fine. He also lived with a child.
Duke is a 6-8 year old Boxer, who was surrendered due to no fault of his own. He is a very sweet, gentle giant, who is neutered, housebroken, up to date on vaccs and just would make the best dog to join your family. If interested email [email protected] or call 609 465 3403. And what if you have another dog? The shelter would like to do a “meet and greet” with potential new families and their pets. There doesn’t seem to be any sadder circumstances than when a dog is adopted only to be returned a day or so later because the other pets in the home were not a good fit.
