No one is waiting to adopt Bruno an all around great dog

At the Miami-Dade Animal Services, Bruno still waits to be adopted – even  a local foster home could make the difference for this eight-year-old American bulldog who loves people.

Sadly, Bruno has been at the shelter since November as an owner surrender, and is one of the few dogs left at the shelter with nowhere to go, no one to love and in danger of losing his life.

An urgent plea for help had been sent out by the shelter. Surely someone can help:

“Urgent Local FOSTER needed for Bruno #A2096861!!! Urgent plea sent , this boy has been at the shelter since November when he was surrendered , then he went to foster care through MDAS in March due to the pandemic and the foster went back to work and he was returned 2 weeks ago . All this uncertainty has made him anxious and dog reactive , he needs to be the only dog in the home. He is great with people and kids , he knows basic commands , loves his treats !! This boy needs the village now more then ever , he is one of few dogs left at the shelter and he’s getting sad and losing hope he will not make it out alive !!! Please share for foster and pledges for behaviorist training.”

A volunteer offers this description of Bruno:

“Sweet guy waiting for his forever home,8 years old , potty trained and good on leash , doesn’t like other dogs

LOVING, MELLOW AND POTTY TRAINED ! So why has sweet BRUNO BEEN WAITING SINCE November for a home?? Bruno, sweetest most mellow dog ever. He ignores the other dogs. Doesnt give any trouble at all. Super chill. Walks great and is potty trained. All around good boy.”
