Nine puppies arrived at the Devore Animal Shelter on Thursday in the trunk of a car. The people turning in the puppies claimed they found the puppies roaming outside.
An angry shelter volunteer commented on social media:
“Just one example garbage people dumping animals at the shelter!!! These pieces of garbage dumped nine puppies at Devore Animal Shelter today. They transported them in the trunk of their car! They claimed they found them just out roaming around. Bottom line is they didn’t want to pay the owner surrender fees. Maybe if they spay or neuter their pets in the first place. People are just so wonderful.”
