In Jasper County, Florida, a mother dog and her nine newborn puppies were discovered on Monday night in the trash. Although the mother was tired and weak, even in the garbage can, she tried her best to care for her puppies.
Crazy Rescue Ladies, a non profit shelter located in Cooper City, stepped forward to help.
“This amazing mom found in a garbage can after just delivering 9 babies. Look at her trying so hard to keep them safe…,” the organization posted on their social media page.
Now named Lizzy, the mother was rushed to an emergency veterinarian. Covered in fleas and very tired and weak, she and her puppies are currently in foster care.

On the story of the dumpster girl, Lizzy. Please get facts straight. She was found in Jasper Co. Florida, and she was ate up in ticks. When we picked her up, They were falling off there were so many. My vet spent over an hour bathing her and picking off ticks. We were vert worried cause she was not feeding her babys.
She was very mal-nourished and was given fluids to help. After all of that, she wanted her babys. ( babys were tube fed while mom was getting treated. )
Please correct location, because the trash dump was at a correctional facility. I am asking for an investigation.
