Recently, a middle-aged dog bounced out of the back of a truck. Efforts to find her family have proven fruitless and now an animal shelter in Othello, Washington, hopes to find her a new home. On Tuesday, the Adams County Pet Rescue wrote:

Wildfire was the middle aged girl that was seen falling out of the back of the truck when it hit a bump. No one has claimed her and the people that picked her up decided they didn’t want to adopt her so we are letting people know she’s available for adoption now.

Wildfire is “hating” shelter life and needs to head to a real home as soon as possible. The shelter writes:

She’s house trained, loves pulling her blanket off of her cot and sleeping on the floor. Wildfire is a darling Lab and deserves to be spoiled and go on lone leisurely walks with someone that loves her.
