A man in Tampa, Florida, is wanted for an act of cruelty which claimed the life of a duck. As reported by the Tampa Bay Times, a man allegedly lured ducks at an apartment complex with bread, then grabbed one and snapped its neck.
A witness told a local news agency that the suspect was in a red SUV or crossover at the Park at Lake Como Apartment homes on Thursday. The witness claims that the man in question took the deceased duck with him and drove away. The witness, unnamed, also told Bay 9 News, that the man laughed and waved after killing the duck.
The disturbing situation was reported to the Fish and Wildlife Commission; the agency is reported to be looking for the man implicated in the crime.
