In Sydney, Australia, a jealous boyfriend videoed himself allegedly beating his dog and sending the photos to his ex-girlfriend after finding her photos on a dating site.
According to the Daily Mail, John Odah, 51, sent four videos to his girlfriend showing him kicking his French bulldog, Eiffel.
“Say hello to mummy, that’s right bow your head you little ****,” Odah said to the dog on the video before kicking her in the side of the face.
The second video showed Eiffel approaching Odah when he kicked the dog, and as the dog tried to flee, Odah kicked him again. In the third video, Odah kicked the dog five times.
When animal cruelty officers arrived at Odah’s home, they found the dog lying in a pool of diarrhea. Veterinarian examinations revealed the dog had several physical issues including skin inflammations and an eye problem. As a result of the mistreatment, Eiffel also “exhibited fearful behavior.”
“The vet also reviewed the footage taken from the offender’s phone and found, as a matter of expert opinion, the abuse documented would have caused the dog extreme distress, and pain and suffering, including extreme mental suffering,” the RSPCA report stated.
Odah has since apologized for his aberrant behavior and said he wanted to show his ex-girlfriend how her leaving left he and the dog in pain. Odah pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty. He has been sentenced to two years of community service and is not allowed to own or care for any pets for the next two years.
Eiffel remains in the custody of the RSPCA.

Only 2 years probation and to not own any pets. You got to be kidding me, not even responsible for the vet bills and the cost of rehabilitation for this poor dog. He shouldn’t be allowed to own any pets for life, and must attend anger management programs and a lot longer on probation since he’s not getting jail time which he should get, even if its weekend only for 3 or more years.
This wasn’t even a slap on the wrist it was a pat on the back and saying its okay to abuse animals.
I hope the people of the town he lives in protest and let the prosecutor and judge know this is executable punishment.
Two years???? This piece of shit should have been put in prison also not being able to own a pet for two years how about never own any animal!!!!! The laws have to change people we are the voice of the voiceless.This makes me sick to my stomach.
