A man in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is facing charges after he allegedly smashed his dog into the roof of his car, and threw another dog into a car. As reported by WBTW News, witnesses stated that 53-year-old Todd Miller was angry because his dogs were running loose in the parking lot of The Sneaky Beagle restaurant.
When Miller caught the dogs, witnesses observed him smashing one into the roof of the car multiple times before throwing the dog into the car. They observed him grabbing the other dog by the neck and throwing him into the vehicle. A Horry County Police Officer wrote:
“The witness then stated that she observed the suspect pick up the white dog by the back of his neck and then smash the dog four times onto the roof of the car. I then spoke to witness #2 who stated that he observed the suspect grab the brown dog by the back of the neck and threw him into the car. The suspect then grabbed the white dog by the back of the neck and smashed him into the roof of the car several times and then threw him into the car.”
Miller was arrested for ill-treatment of animals and booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center; he has already bonded out. No word on the condition of the dogs.
