A man in Morgantown, West Virginia, was arrested after a video surfaced showing him choking/strangling a Dalmatian. According to a press release from the Morgantown Police Department, 23-year-old Jesse Workman was identified as the person responsible for the cruel incident – he was arrested and jailed at West Virginia Regional on a $15,000 bond.
After the authorities viewed the video, they secured an animal seizure/removal notice for the dog, who was removed from Workman’s possession and taken to the Monongalia County dog warden, reports WCHS TV.
The choking incident is believed to have taken place in February 2020.

Oh, thank God! I think this is the one that popped up on Facebook yesterday and it started running before I realized what it was! I went to notify Facebook of the incident and it disappeared. I cried and hugged my dog as I was sure the dog was dead. I really hope this is the one and he is in a better forever home!
