A Florida man has been arrested for shooting his neighbor’s puppy in the face. As reported by WEAR TV, 29-year-old Anthony Bain was taken into custody after shooting a six-month-old Labrador retriever, named Charlie, in the snout.
Bain claims that the puppy killed his chickens and had pinned down one of his dogs and growled at him when confronted. X-rays from a veterinarian showed that a .22 caliber bullet had lodged in the pup’s throat.
Bain was arrested on October 21 and taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail. He was released on a $2500 bond. No word on the current condition of the puppy.
