A Utah man is accused of throwing two kittens from the window of a moving car. As reported by KUTV News, witnesses reported seeing a man throw two kittens from the passenger side window of a car that was traveling on Freedom Blvd. in Provo.
The man believed to be responsible for the cruel act is identified as 59-year-old Robert Earl Corliss. The man was arrested and charged because the witness phoned 9-1-1 and followed Corliss in his car to get a description and license plate number. When police caught up to the accused man, he denied the allegations.
One of the kittens was later found deceased – the other could not be located.
Corliss is facing a charge of aggravated cruelty to an animal, a class A misdemeanor.
