A Michigan man is accused of killing someone’s dog with a gunshot to the face. As reported by MLive.com, 22-year-old Robert Iree Mallard, of Muskegon, allegedly shot a woman’s dog in the nose, causing the dog to die.
The woman told the authorities that she heard the dog barking and found Mallard on the home’s porch, near the body of the dead dog, when she went to look. Mallard has denied the allegations, but he is facing multiple charges, including:
animal cruelty, a four-year felony; carrying a concealed weapon, which is a five-year felony; and felony firearm, which carries a mandatory two-year consecutive term upon conviction.
