Man accused of beating shepherd with metal chain

A Maryland man turned himself into the police after someone reported that he was beating his German shepherd with a metal chain. As reported by WBALTV, 53-year-old Miguel Flores, of Glen Burnie, allegedly hit the dog with enough force to cause the dog to cry in pain.

Anne Arundel County Animal Care and Control officers responded to Flores’ home on Sunday afternoon and seized three dogs from the property. The dogs were taken in for “care and treatment.” There is no word on the condition of the shepherd who was allegedly beaten.

Animal control has requested that anyone with further information about this situation call them at 410-222-8900.

  1. IT IS A TRAGEDY WHEN PEOPLE HAVE PETS JUST TO ABUSE AND TAKE OUT THEIR ANGER! WE NEED MANY MORE PROTECTIVE ANGELS!

PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW THE POOR DOGS ARE DOING!
