A Florida man admitted to the authorities that he fed his dog every “three to four days.” As reported by CBS 12, an eight-year-old dog, belonging to 36-year-old Stanley Davis Jr., was discovered living amidst “piles of waste,” with no access to clean food or water.
After the dismal situation was found, Davis admitted that he works as a transporter and only feeds the dog every three to four days. The dog was “visibly” malnourished and in poor health.
The neglect has resulted in Davis facing charges for cruelty to animals and unlawful confinement of animals. The dog has been taken in by an area rescue organization.
