A lonely, senior German shepherd is waiting for someone to love him. The 10-year-old dog, named Shep, has been at the Babylon Animal Shelter since August of 2019. Shep has been passed by, time and again, because he requires a special home to suit his personality.

Shep is looking for a home with a very special Mom or Dad — a very savvy, Shepherd experienced, human who is committed to him and will cherish him the rest of his life. A home where he can be the one and only apple of your eye; no dogs, no cats, no kids.
Shelter life is difficult for all dogs, but it is especially difficult for Senior dogs. Won’t someone please open their heart and home and give Shep a chance?
Shep is heartworm positive and is described as a smart, “eager to please” dog who knows all of his basic commands.
